I drove up to my parents house to do some errands this morning and this big box turtle was sitting in their driveway. In typical blogger fashion I wipped out my phone and tried to get a good picture of the thing. He ended up moving around in circles as I chased him and eventually made it into the grass where I got this shot.

I see a wide range of posters everyday on the metro but none were as intriguing as this one promoting Crystal City.

I got off the Metro today surpised to see a heavy down pour but the sun was out and shining bright. I did manage to see a rainbow on my walk home which made up for the inconveinence.

Someone at Quiznos sure does’t know their proportions. Just look at this sandwhich. Maybe they were going for the golden ratio?

Absolutely nothing! Felines were made for the hot and humid DC weather minus the fur coat.

If only I had a tree that grew beer, I would be a millionaire. Or drunk.

The sidewalk in front of my office was closed and the construction workers used an unneccesary large amount of traffic cones to get the idea across.

One $8 Slip ‘n Slide + a black plastic tarp + dishwashing detergent + beer = one fun memorial day!

Kristina and I had to stop by Food Lion to pick up a few things for her mom. I noticed these funny hand-drawn cartoon signs above the meats.

Today is Kristina’s graduation. My favorite line from the keynote speech: “The graduating class is overwhelmed with technology, cell phones, blogs, faxes…” Yea I just can’t keep up with all of those faxes.
