Took a stroll down by the edge of the Potomac river today after spotting a huge tree floating by in the swift current. A little on the cool side but overall a great day to be outside. Now it is time for me to head back inside for work…
Pink bicycle outside of local Georgetown coffee shop Baked and Wired. Clearly a nice promotional piece.
Went to the CompUSA in Columbia for the last time tonight. After this weekend they will be closed forever. I used to go to this store whenever Kristina needed to go to Jo-Ann Fabrics next door. CompUSA was always too overpriced to buy anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary right away so I would use it to get a feel for things then buy online. Now the shelves are bare as they try to ditch the utter crap that nobody wants. There were a couple of laptops including a black MacBook but the rock bottom price was still too high. It’s a shame to see the store go but there is no way a big retail chain can compete with online ventures in the hyperactive technology industry. R.I.P CompUSA.
It’s too cold for flowers but this little set-up caught my eye on my walk home from work.
Drawn on bus stop shelter at 24th and Pennsylvania Avenue in DC.
Woke up to no electricity this morning due to the ice storm we had last night. No wifi, tv, or heat but my cellphone has plenty of juice.
I hear the metro is running so I guess I will need to try and go to work. Looks like Monday came 3 days late this week.
Had lunch at Miss Saigon in Georgetown and ordered the Golden Crepe. This thing was delicious and filling.
These don’t look like robots and I don’t think that women could fit in a box this small.
A concoction of my own creation. It is just like a typical hamburger only with a harder starch… and it could be a meal for breakfast.
